AMADEUS MOZART BIOGRAPHY
Austrian composer born in Salzburg on January 27, 1756. His prodigiousmusical gifts were soon seen by his father, Leopold, who decided to educate and simultaneously display it (along with big sister Nannerl - Maria Anna -) as a source of income. At the age of six, Mozartwas already an advanced interpreter keyboard instruments and a violinist effective while demonstrating an extraordinary capacity for improvisation and reading scores. Even today interpreted five smallpiano pieces he composed at that age.
1762 Leopold began to take his son on a tour of European courts. First to Munich and Vienna and, in 1763 Mozart embarked on a long journey of three years and ahalf which led to the little Wolfgang valuable experiences: he met the famous orchestra in Mannheim and style, French music in Paris, and the gallant style J.Ch. Bach in London. During this period hewrote sonatas for both violin and piano (1763) and a symphony (K.16, 1764).
Now back to Salzburg, continued his early compositions, among which are found the first part of an oratorio, Die des erstenSchuldigkeit Gebots (The obligation of the First Commandment), comic opera La Finta Semplice, Bastien und Bastienne and his first Singspiel (Type of opera in German with recited). The year 1769, with13, was named archbishop Konzertmeister of your city.
After a few years at home, father and son went to Italy (1769-1771). In Milan, he met the composer Mozart G.B. Sammartini, in Rome, Pope awardedhim the distinction of Knight of the Golden Spur and Bologna contacted Father Martini and successfully conducted the entrance exam to the prestigious Accademia Filarmonica. The year 1770 wascommissioned to write the opera is his first major, Mitridate, re di Ponto (1770), written in Milan. With this work, his reputation as a musician became even more apparent.
