Science fair info:
* -project examples:

* citrus fruit (e.g., lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit)
* copper nail, screw or wire (about 2" or 5 cm long)
* zinc nail or screw or galvanized nail (about 2" or 5 cm long)
* holiday light with 2" or 5 cm leads (enough wire to connect it to the nails)
Make a Fruit Battery
1. Set the fruit on a table andgently roll it around to soften it up. You want the juice to be flowing inside the fruit without breaking its skin. Alternatively, you can squeeze the fruit with your hands.
2. Insert the zinc and copper nails into the fruit so that they are about 2" or 5 cm apart. You don't want them to be touching each other. Avoid puncturing through the end of the fruit.
3. Remove enough insulation fromthe leads of the light (about 1") so that you can wrap one lead around the zinc nail and one lead around the copper nail. If you like, you can use electrical tape or alligator clips to keep the wire from falling off the nails.
4. When you connect the second nail, the light will turn on!
Learn More
* Citrus fruits are acidic, which helps their juice to conduct electricity. What otherfruits and vegetables might you try that would work as batteries?
* If you have a multimeter, you can measure the current produced by the battery. Compare the effectiveness of different types of fuits. See what happens as you change the distance between the nails.
* Do acidic fruits always work better? Measure the pH (acidity) of the fruit juice and compare that with the current through thewires or brightness of the light bulb.

this Project proves that citricts such as lemon, limes, oranges and other acids fruits can produce electricity with the correct process and iniciative top ut in a certain way.
Our project will do a similar project but using different kind of fruits besides citrics so we can try toprove that other fruits can produce electricity so in the future, we can use this natural fuel to imprube the ways of energy.
The following project is very similar to ours so we will put it as an example or guide.

Safety Issues
The fruits used in this project should not be eaten. Care should be taken when handling the metal electrodes, LED and alligator clip leads.
Material Availability
Various fruitsvarieties, multi-meter, LED, alligator clip leads, and Tri-fold cardboard display board, all can be purchased locally. The copper and zinc electrodes can be ordered online.
Approximate Time Required to Complete the Project (Hours, Days, Weeks)
One day after of the materials are secured.
Objective
What is the project about?
The research aspect of this science fair project is to construct batteries(wets cells) made from various fruits and tests them to see which one will produced the most electric current.
What are the goals?
To create a battery from common fruits that when connected in a circuit will produce enough electricity sufficient to light an LED, or small hobby motor. To determine the amount of electricity produced a multi-meter will be used which will display both the voltageand current. Several fruits following a consistent testing procedure will be used and the results displayed in a data table, graph, and other visual aids.
In conducting this project the young investigator will apply the knowledge gained form this study to determine if it would be practical to use fruit as a natural source for generating electricity.
