Anne Sullivan Macy (1866-1936) fue una mujer cuya pasioacuten y tenacidad le permitieron superar un pasado traumaacutetico.br /
Anne fue pionera en el campo de la educacioacuten de nintildeos ciegos, sordociegos o deficientes visuales. Su trabajo con Helen Keller se convirtioacute en un modelo a seguir.br /
Sin embargo, la historiapersonal de Anne sigue siendo relativamente desconocida. Se casoacute con Juan Albert Macy en 1905. Poco despueacutes, Anne quemoacute sus diarios privados, por temor a lo que su marido podriacutea pensar de ella si los leiacutea.
