Once assigned this project, we were encouraged to vastly investigate about the most enigmatic monasteries around the world. We went from the most extravagant ones like The Mastra Monastery to themost humble like The Franciscans Monasteries, until we found the perfect one that accomplished all our expectations, the Saint Vitale church.
Small, humble, with not just great, but exceptionalhistory, pure and beautiful in every aspect, with these and many other details we were instantly amazed, and fully prepared to explore all these exquisite things about it, and so we did.
The Vitale Churchcomes directly from the byzantine influence and it’s considered one of the biggest works of art from the V century. Bishop Eclesium was the head chair of this project succeeded by Boshop Victor,concluded this massive construction after 16 years.
On the other hand flying way back to Mexico, Puebla to be more exactly, we as well, did not have any problems finding a enigmatic place. The SantoDomingo Monasterium, once considered the 8th world marvel for it’s most valued jewel, La Virgen del Camino Chapel. Full of Mexican Barroom and rich of history and art, its just amazing the feelings andsensations this place generates by its own. With these and more we started our exiting investigation.

Introducción
Este proyecto consistió en investigar acerca un ejemplo representativo de laarquitectura paleocristiana y bizantina. Nosotros escogimos La iglesia de San vital porque es la obra central de la arquitectura bizantina y el arquitecto que la construyó es considerado por los expertoscomo: el más brillante de la época. También escogimos este edificio ya que es uno de los conventos más pequeños de esa época y sobre todo para explicarlo de mejor manera. Nos llamo mucho la atención suforma de construcción, la iluminación, mosaicos, volúmenes etc…Y el hecho que cada espacio dentro de la iglesia está bien diseñado para su funcionalidad.
