OBTENCIÓN DE INDICADORES ÁCIDO - BASE A
PARTIR DE SUSTANCIAS NATURALES (VEGETALES)
Y DETERMINACIÓN DE SUS RANGOS DE PH

Resumen
El presente artículo científico es el producto de lainvestigación acerca de la elaboración de indicadores ácido-base a partir de sustancias naturales como son los vegetales, con los objetivos de elaborar indicadores naturales para determinar las variaciones depH en diferentes soluciones ácido–básicas, sin la necesidad de utilizar indicadores sintéticos, así como también determinar si se logra los rangos de pH a través de dichos indicadores encontrados,además de realizar una comprobación de las variaciones de pH de las diferentes soluciones.
En los resultados obtenidos, se observó que los indicadores elaborados varían entre los colores: rosa suave,verde, amarillo, café suave, incoloro, calipso, fucsia y crema y, además, que los valores de pH -responsables de estas variaciones- oscilan entre 1.45 (el valor más bajo y, por lo tanto, el másácido) y 8 (valor más alto y, por lo tanto, el más básico).

Abstract

This scientific article is the productof research on the development of acid-base indicators from natural substances such as plants, with the objectives of developing indicators for determining natural variations in pH in differentacid-base solutions without the need for composite indicators, as well as determine if the pH ranges achieved through such indicators found, in addition to a check of changes in pH of the solutions.
Theresults obtained showed that the indicators produced vary between colors: soft pink, green, yellow, brown, smooth, colorless, calypso, pink and cream and also the pH values responsible for thesevariations, ranging from 1.45 (the lowest value and, therefore, the more acid) and 8 (highest value and, therefore, the most basic).
