Robert Nesta Marley Booker was born on February 6, 1945 in Nine Mile that located in island of Jamaica in the Caribbean Sea, better known as BobMarley, was a musician, guitarist and composer Jamaican. During his musical career was the leader, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, rocksteady and reggae TheWailers and Bob Marley & The Wailers. Marley remains the most known and respected performer of reggae music and is credited for helping spread Jamaican music both asthe Rastafari movement. Among his biggest hits are the singles "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Jamming", "Redemption Song" and, together with TheWailers, "Three Little Birds" and the posthumous release "Buffalo Soldier ".After eight months fighting unsuccessfully against cancer, Marley took a plane back toJamaica. During the flight from Germany, its vital functions began to fail .When the plane landed, had to be rushed to the hospital because he needed immediate medicalattention. He died at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital, now University Hospital of Miami, on the morning of May 11, 1981, at the age of 36. The spread of the cancerstarted as melanoma on his foot and metastasis produced in his lungs and brain were the cause of his untimely death. The last words to his son Ziggy Marley were "moneycan not buy life." Marley received a state funeral on May 21, 1981 which combined elements of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church with the Rastafarian tradition. He wasburied with his Gibson Les Paul guitar red in a chapel next to the birthplace.
Rita Anderson , better known Rita Marley was his wife and the had a lot of sons.
