you for selecting BODYSTAT® 1500; we hope our
product and service will earn your trust.

BODYSTAT® is a long established reputable company,
incorporated on the Isle of Man in 1990 and aleader in its field.
The company’s business is the research, development,
manufacture and marketing of state-of-the-art Body Composition &
Fluid measurement products using proven Bioelectrical
Impedance techniques which are safe, reliable, and deliver
reproducible results.
The application of these measurements has an everincreasing scope - from medicine and nutritional status, to lifestyleimprovement, to fitness and health assessment.

CAUTION
The test is NOT recommended for:
Females in the early stages of pregnancy
Or
Subjects with pace-makers orany implantable
electronic device.
1. If your BODYSTAT1500 unit arrives in cold weather, allow
the system to warm up to room temperature before you
switch on the unit.
2. Exposing a cold computerized system to a warm room
causes condensation that could damage the system.
3. Wait at least 24 hours to allow for any possible condensation
that may have formed inside the casing to dry beforeyou
operate the system.
4. Do NOT attempt to connect the BODYSTAT1500 hardware
unit nor the Printer to a mains electricity supply.
5. The device is not suitable for use with flammable gases.
Protect against water. Do not use in a sterile environment.
6. This instrument is an internally powered, Type BF Applied
Part device according to 60601-1.
7. Cleaning Instructions: The hardware unitdoes not have to be
sterilized but should be periodically wiped with a clean damp
cloth.
8. The Device has been tested and complies with the
requirements according to EN60601-1-2.
