Materials
• cotton fabric, fake suede and a small piece in
purple and deco fabric for appliqué
• 2 buttons (approx. 20mm)
• 1 zipper (20 cm)
• 9 cm cotton tape forlabel (2 cm wide)

Cut the pieces according to the plan,
adding 1.5 cm seam allowances. The
border piece up at the bag opening is
folded towards the inside and therefore needs to be cut out 22 x42 cm.
Cut also the handle double, so that the finished width is 3.5 cm.
In addition, cut out one black rectangular piece, 25 x 25 cm for the inner zipper pocket
and one piece, 13 x 15.5 cm (seamallowances included) for the outside pocket.

Sewing
Edges:
• Overcast all edges (except handle) with zig-zag No. 2 and FootNo. 2 (or No. 1).

Border:
• Sew the border right on right side to the front piece. As the zipper will be inserted at the back
piece, sew this seam as follows: begin sewing at both edges for 8cm and secure the ends.
Close the 16 cm in the middle with the longest possible straight stitch (basting). Insert zipper.
• Attach the inner bag to the seam allowance of the zipper.

• Prepare the circles with fusable webbing. Sew one circle (Foot No. 20) with the blanket stitch
(stitch length: basic setting, stitch width: 5), then sew the other circle with thefeather stitch
(stitch length and -width: basic setting) a little staggered.
