Bomba atomica
The AtomicBomb is a very powerful weapon that uses the splitting of heavy atoms to cause a massive explosion 1 million times stronger than TNT (Carson Mark). The Atomic Bomb uses Uranium-235 or Plutonium-239 asfuel for the explosion and these atoms consist of very high energy that may create devastating results when they react. In order for the Atomic Bomb to work there has to be a chain reaction that createsfission during the process and if the reaction goes correctly without any malfunctions the result will be a big explosion and no dead scientists while testing it (Carson Mark). There have been manycasualties when testing these weapons and thanks to the lives of those scientists and individuals that sacrificed their lives for science, the Atomic Bomb today is much safer to use in battle whenneeded.
The Manhattan Project was a United States project that focused in the development of the Atomic Bomb. The project started in 1940, thanks to scientists like Albert Einstein that showed howUranium-235 could be used to create very powerful bombs to President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Later on Roosevelt formed the National Defense Research Committee on June 15, 1940 for scientists to develop...
