There are nine types of intelligences in total. By this I am referring to Howard Gardner’s theory of intelligences which states that people have different intelligencesand that intelligence is not dominated by one thing. For instance if one can multiply than another that does not necessarily mean that, that person is smart than someone that cannot, that is just theirkind of intelligence. The three intelligences I am said to have, or rather I believe I have are existential intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and lastly intrapersonal intelligence.Existential intelligence is defined as the intelligence that one has the capacity to tackle deep question about human life, the meaning of life, why do we die, and how did we get here. This is an intelligencemany philosophers have it is useful in find the deeper meaning of things. I believe I have this intelligence because I often ruminate about religion, life, and things of that nature. I also have manyconversations on these topics with my peers, adults, devoted religious people, and may other people in my life. I also look to speak with priest and other religious leaders about these topics, forone it interests me and I see it has a extremely important topic. Not everyone has these intelligences, which is obviously seen everyday especially nowadays, but many do and these are the people thatcreate theories for life, create religions, and things of this nature. Also I think of many plausible possibilities of the afterlife.
Interpersonal intelligence is another intelligence I believe Ihave. It is the intelligence of empathy, to be vague, by this I mean one can interact and understand others fairly easy as if it comes naturally. One that has this intelligence can identify the moods ofothers and their moods and set distinctions between the different kinds of people.
