.484 CALIPER, FOR THE CAFE RACER AND CUSTOM MARKETS
The .484 caliper has been created with an increasingly demanding class of customer in view, and
designed to target the Café Racer and Custom bikemarkets.
The name .484 derives from the unitary displacement of the single caliper pistons, measured in
cubic inches, typical of the VTwin market.
This new caliper is made entirely from billetstock, starting from a block of aluminium machined
applying the very latest CAM technologies. The two caliper halves are joined by three steel bolts
inserted from the wheel side.
The .484 has acharcoal grey finish applied by hard anodizing, with a large Brembo logo in the
familiar red, located on the top of the piston at the disc entry side.
The caliper incorporates radial mounting technologyto guarantee maximum operating precision,
and is interchangeable with all Brembo calipers having a 100 mm mount.
The sliding action of the pads is enabled by special guides machined directly in thebody of the
caliper, which means that the .484 has no guide pins.
Supplied in kit form, the product comes with sintered pads, and is accompanied by an instruction
booklet and Brembo stickers.
THEGROOVE: NEW DISC FOR CAFE RACERS
This new disc — The Groove — forms part of the Brembo offering for the Custom, Café Racer and
Bike by Night market.
The design of the hub flange — machined entirelyfrom billet stock — is particularly distinctive,
featuring a special black/charcoal grey anodized finish that creates a unique look, further enhanced
by eye-catching grooves machined in the surfaceafter the anodizing process.
The familiar red Brembo logo, applied by hand in the Brembo workshops, is located between the
spokes of the hub flange.
