Broad Context:
This is the only place in the Bible where the ‘’ daughters of men’’ are mentioned. The ‘’Sons of God’’ are mentioned in in the Old Testament as well as inthe New Testament. Job 2:1 says: ‘’ Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.’’ In Job38:7 says: ‘‘when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?’’ The sons of God are also mentioned in the New Testament but it is not talking about the same ‘’sons ofGod’’, they refer to the people who became sons of God thorough Jesus. They are mentioned in Romans 8:14, and in Galatians 8:14, Philippians 2:15 and 1 John 3:2 they world ‘’child’’ is used instead ofsons.
