Bullying is a form of aggressive behaviormanifested by the use of force or coercion to affect others. Often when the behavior is habitual and involves an imbalance of power. It can include verbal harassment, physical assault or any other wayto affect others. It may be directed repeatedly towards particular victims. Usually base bullying on grounds of race, religion, gender, sexuality or ability. Bullying is one of the causes ofdepression, violence and psychological problems.

People that are victims of bullying are at risk of developing depression easily. Kids can grow sad if they are bullied physically or mentally. A person canget depressed very easy if they are bullied constantly. Since depression can cause death if not treated properly, we must take action and stop bullying. If we stop bullying, there will be less peoplewith depression.

Bullying also increases violence in society and in families. Bullying is violence, so if we do not stop it, violence will increase in society. Bullying is seen more at school, yearby year more kids are affected by it and learn by it. Since kids learn to bully at school, they grow up bullying at work, family and friends. Bullying is characterized by an individual behaving in acertain way to gain power over another person.

For that reason, statistics show that aggressors and victims of bullying develop psychological problems. The victims of bullying are common to have lowself-esteem. Some young teenagers have even considered suicide by the causes of bullying. Almost every person that is bullied, their behavior changes drastically. These are the basic psychologicalproblems that we have to face if we are bullied.

Sadly, bullying has become a harsh reality in today’s modern world. In the age of technology and the internet where anything can be said in a flash...
