Summary
This document describes the process of how a company can move from Desktop Intelligence (DeskI) to Web Intelligence (WebI). It presents information around the benefits from sucha project and describes some new capabilities for reporting users. The paper describes the different steps in the project, based on experiences from several companies in different sectors, of different sizes, and in different countries. Henri Theuwissen has more than 25 years experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. He is founder of BI Knowledge Sharing. BI Knowledge Sharing is specialized in on-site training, using in house developed, customized training material. BI Knowledge Sharing offers consulting and coaching in the areas of query and reporting, universedesign, security and administration. Henri Theuwissen is committee member of the Belgian SAP Business Objects user group. He holds a degree of civil engineer in computer sciences from the University of Leuven. Since 2005 he is speaker at the Business Objects user conferences in the USA and in Europe.
