The beverage made infamous by Harry Potter and his friends can now be made directlyfrom the comfort of your home. With the new Harry Potter section of Universal Studios of Orlando open, butterbeer has continued increasing in popularity.You no longer have to travel to Harry Potter land or Orlando, Florida to enjoy the delicious treat. Simply utilize the recipe below:
Ingredients for 2servings:
1/2 cup of brown sugar
3 tablespoons of butter
2 bottles of cream soda (12 ounces each)
1/4 teaspoon of rum extract
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1tablespoon of water
1/4 teaspoon of cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Directions:
1.) Combine the water and brown sugar in a saucepan. On medium heat,bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.
2.) Add the butter, vinegar, 1/4 of the heavy cream, and salt. Set the saucepan and mixture aside forcooling
3.) Stir the rum extract into the mixture
4.) Add the remaining heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of the above mixture into a bowl and mix for 2minutes to create a whipped topping.
Serving:
Separate the mixture into 2 glasses and add cream soda to fill the glass. Add the whipped topping and serve!
