Recycling: What for?
Recycling is a process that consists intransforming waste into new products. Some recyclable materials are paper, glass, plastic and metal. Cans, bottles and newspaper are just some of the things that are collected and taken to places that have beenespecially designed to select, clean and reprocess those materials.
Recoverning waste reduces pollution, since it decreases the amount of not biodegradable materials that tend to decompose in thelandfills, releasing methane gas into the atmosphere. It also contributes to save some natural resources like trees, water and oil.
Recycling conserves a significant amount of energy because itreduces the need for industries to manufacture some materials.
Nowadays, it is common to find recyclable bins to deposit waste in public places. In this way, we all can contribute with the future ofthe planet.

Reciclaje: ¿Para qué?
El reciclaje es un proceso que consiste en la transformación de la basura en nuevos productos. Algunos materiales reciclables son de papel,de cristal, plásticos y metálicos. Las latas, botellas y periódico son solamente algunas cosas que son recogidas en los sitios especializados que sobre todo han sido diseñados para seleccionar,limpiar y tratar de nuevo aquellos materiales.
La recuperación la basura reduce la contaminación, ya que esto disminuye la cantidad de no los materiales biodegradables que tienden a descomponerse enlos terraplenes, el gas de metano de liberación en la atmósfera. Esto también se contribuye para salvar algunos recursos naturales como árboles, agua y aceite.
