Un año, doce meses, 365 días. Formas y colores
se entremezclan en la cabeza de miles de escritores
y artistas en todo el mundo. De la mente al papel,
del papel al muro. Tan sencillo y complicado.

One year, twelve months, 365 days. Forms and colors
intermix in the heads of thousands of writers and artiststhroughout the world. From the mind to paper,
and from paper to the wall. It’s as simple,
and complicated, as that.

Muros en todos los formatos, nunca
lo suficientemente grandes nunca los necesarios
para plasmar tanta imaginería, para tantos gritos
en formas de letras de cada uno de nosotros,
de vosotros, en las calles.

Murals of all shapes and sizes, never big enough
to capture somuch imagination, never big enough
for the text representations of our voices, your voices,
on the street.

Metrópolis, ciudades, pueblos, islas, parajes naturales,
fábricas, alcantarillas, subterráneos, callejones…
Escritores de graffiti, artistas de graffiti, ilustradores,
pintores, enfrentándose solos ante un lienzo,
a una pared recién fondeada con plástica, al metal,
a la madera, alsucio y gris hormigón…
O junto a su crew, su colectivo, en equipo, todos
trabajando por un objetivo común, por la gloria,
por la satisfacción de contemplar el trabajo bien hecho.

Metropolises, cities, towns, islands, nature, factories,
sewers, the underground, big streets...
Graffiti writers, graffiti artists, illustrators, painters,
all squaring up to face the canvas, or a freshly paintedwall, or metal, or wood, or the dirty and gray concrete...
or alongside their crew, their collective, their team,
all working towards a common objective; for the glory,
and for the satisfaction of sitting back and contemplating a job well done.

Todo son momentos. Estos que aquí os mostramos
son 12 de ellos en la breve vida de MTN-WORLD
durante 2011. Queremos compartirlos con vosotros
yque queden archivados en este documento, esperando
a un nuevo año cargado con nuevas sensaciones.

These are all moments. And what we have to show
you is 12 of these moments from MTN-WORLD from 2011.
We want to share them with you, and store them
in this document, while we await a new year, charged
with new sensations.
