Types of pollution
There are nine types of contamination of the environment, and each has harmful effects on wildlife, human settlements, and the quality of life in the affected area.
Air pollution
The air pollution is defined as any type of air pollution that alters the physical and chemical composition of the air. This can be in the form of particles such as dust or excessive gases likecarbon dioxide or other vapors that cannot be removed effectively through natural cycles, such as the carbon cycle or the nitrogen cycle.
The air pollution comes from a variety of sources. Some of the most excessive sources include:
Exhausts of cars or manufacturing
Forest fires, volcanic eruptions, dry soil erosion, and other natural sources
Construction or demolition of buildings
Dependingon the concentration of pollutants, several effects can be noticed. Increase in smog, increased rain acidic, depletion of crops due to lack of oxygen, higher rates of asthma, and global warming is related with the air pollution.

Water pollution
Water pollution involves any contaminated water, bacterial chemicals, particles or matter that degrades the quality of the water and purity. Waterpollution can occur in the oceans, rivers, lakes and underground deposits, and can be expanded in different sources of water the Colas of the water pollution include:
The increase in sediment from soil erosion
Improper disposal of waste and trash
The filtration of the pollution of the soil in water supply
Decomposition of organic material in the water supply
The effects of water pollutioninclude the reduction of the amount of available water, the reduction of the supply of water for the irrigation of crops and affect the populations of fish and wildlife that require water of a certain degree of purity for survival.

Soil contamination
A type of pollution is the contamination of the soil, pollution of the Earth, is contamination of soil that prevents natural growth and balance inthe land used for farming, housing, or a wildlife preserve. Some of the contamination of the soil, such as the creation of landfills, is deliberate, while much more is accidental and may have widespread effects.
The sources of soil contamination are:
Hazardous waste and sewage spills
Unsustainable agricultural practices, such as the intensive use of inorganic pesticides
Open pit mining, deforestation and other destructive practices
Household waste dump
Soil pollution can lead to the lack of growth and decline of the yields of crops, loss of wildlife habitat, water and visual pollution, soil erosion and desertification.

Noise pollution

This type of pollution refers to undesirable levels of noise caused by human activities that alter the standard of living in the affected area.Noise pollution can come from:
Traffic
Airports
Railways
Manufacturing plants
Construction or demolition
Concerts
Some types of noise pollution may be temporary while other sources are more permanent. Effects may include loss of hearing, disorders of wildlife, and a general degradation of lifestyle.

Radioactive contamination
Radioactive contamination is one of the types ofpollution that is rare but extremely harmful, even deadly, when it occurs. Due to its intensity and the difficulty of reversing the damage, there are strict government regulations to control radioactive contamination.
Sources of radioactive contamination include:
Accidents at nuclear power plants or leaks
Improper disposal of nuclear waste
Uranium mining operations
The radiation pollution cancause sterilization, cancer and birth defects and other health problems for human populations and the wildlife. The ground can also be sterilized and contribute to the pollution of water and air.

Thermal pollution

Thermal pollution is excess heat causing undesirable effects during long periods of time. The Earth has a natural thermal cycle, but an excessive increase in temperature can be...
