HISTORY OF CANADA
* Canada is a federation composed of ten provinces and three territories. In turn, these may be grouped into four mainregions: Western Canada, Central Canada, Atlantic Canada, and Northern Canada.
* After several battles between France and England, these colonies were conquered by the English in the eighteenthcentury. However, although the colony of Acadie was destroyed and its inhabitants scattered, Québec colony survived with recognized rights to maintain their own language and French laws in exchange forloyalty to the UK.

MAPLE LEAF
* Is a red flag with a white square in its centre, and it has a red leaf. Its adoption in 1965 marked the first time a national flag had been officially adoptedin Canada to replace the Union Flag.

* HISTORY OF THE FLAG
The white in the official design is derived from French royal
symbolism, the Duality Flag adds to the red sections stripes of blue
roughlyin proportion to the number of Canadians who are
primarily French-speaking. The blue was chosen because it is the
main colour that is used on the flag of Quebec.

* WILDLIFE
* Canadianterritory is covered by forests of timber, highlighting the pine and cedar. It also has large meadows.
* The fauna is very similar to that of Northern Europe and Asia. May encounter bears, wolves,coyotes, lions and pumas among others American carnivores. In the Arctic’s polar bears.

* RELIGION
* The people of Canada practise three religions, they are:

* Judaism* Islam

- Education in Canada is required at 5-7 and 16-18 years old.
- Literacy is 99 percent in Canada.
