CAPITALISM, GLOBALIZATION AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Abstract

This paper provides a position on the influence they have hadtraditional models of social and economic development with social responsibility within the framework of a global and competitive environment, regarding the analysis of the economic needs of the organizations and the particular needs of sectors of interest to become consumers socially responsible against the growing entrenchment of the capitalist mode. The paper seeks to conclude on a balance articulatedbetween the phenomenon of globalization, the model of capitalism and the need for a model of social responsibility to provide individual and collective well-being in the Nations.

Capitalism and Economic Needs

The free flow of capital and exchange of goods and services has undergone a major acceleration effect on globalization. Thisdynamic has changed significantly the management styles given that the resources essential for the generation and accumulation of wealth, including the human talent, the inputs and the same capital do not focus to a single point of origin, and are devoted to anywhere in the world, is as well as responsible for generating the corporate strategies should start thinking about successful strategies aswritten by Professor Joseph e. Stiglitz (2007), global markets impose on society a new model of social responsibility that not only allows to identify and implement new models of management to maintain in the long term the free movement of capital and economic growth.

At the governmental level, the need to create employment, generate alternative sources of funding, the incentive to investmentand having sufficient funds to develop infrastructure to raise the standard of living of its population has led today's society towards a capitalist model of social responsibility, to ensure not only the stability and economic growth, but also social development, the guarantee of prosperity, health and peace requires a progressive, dynamic and adaptable economy.

Although the model of capitalistrepresenting the accumulation of wealth and the free market to ensure economic sustainability that promoted Adam Smith (1776) endures, It also has demonstrated an enormous capacity for adaptation and mobility that can satisfy many human

needs with products and services that are offered and demanded at prices the market tolerateduntil they change the supply and demand and the cycle begins again in search of balance economic nature. Despite its flexibility and target noble to satisfy consumer demand, capitalism unintentionally tends to create winners and losers.

Returning to Socialist thought as social order focused on the equitable distribution of wealth Marx and Engels (1848), the feature of inequity is problematic notonly for the losers and members of the proletariat, but in the long term it is also for winners or burghers, given that development is not and will never be economically sustainable or socially equitable, sustainable and balance sustainable environmental of all that in his role with the changing economic conditions facilitators of the production process are one way or another groups of interest,with bargaining power and with power of decision.
