Women are known for taking more time to get ready than men. While most men can get in and out of the shower in a matter of minutes, women go to greater lengths to look nice. They use a specialcleanser for their face, perfumed soaps, shampoos and conditioners, shave their legs and apply creams and lotions to their face and bodies.
There are those who go to the beauty shop faithfully once a week,get regular manicures and pedicures, and are always looking for the latest fashions and accessories. Jewelry, perfume and shoes, these are a woman’s best friends, and when they make an entrance,everyone notices. This is why women care so much about their appearance.

Some women are more high maintenance than others are, some do not go to extremes with beauty regiments, and some have a naturalbeauty without doing any of these things. There are other reasons why women care so much about their appearance, as listed below, but most of the time it is just because of the fact that they are a woman, and it is what women do!

*It makes them feel better about themselvesWhen a woman feels as though she looks good, it makes her feel better about herself, and it shows. She will have an air ofconfidence and will not be reluctant to make a grand entrance, to be the first to voice an opinion or have a problem with being the center of attention.
*They are trying to attract othersSome women careabout their appearance and always look their very best in hopes that they will attract others. They may have their desires set on someone in particular. Perhaps they are exposed to the personalities ofmany, with hopes of gaining the interest and attention of another.
*They are trying to fit in with othersMany times women care about the way the look because they feel as though they must compete orkeep up with other women whom they come in contact.
