This event is amazing because I love the rhythm, colors, choreography, costumes and girls. The costumes and masks are of extreme importance, asthey depict their own story. Like music, even the costumes are influenced by the African heritage. Fabrics of different textures, adorned with feathers and sequins, are used. While designing suchelaborated costumes, the freedom of movement to the dancers is an essential aspect. I would like to travel to Brazil and enjoy this parade because I only watch in TV. This event takes places fromFebruary to march in these moths only; the ticket price is 100 to 150 dollars per person, tickets must be bought with three months before the event. But it´s worth! During carnival normal life issuspended and the daily worries are forgotten for as long as the festival lasts.
