To Whom It May Concern:
I had the pleasure of working with Pedro Salas ten years ago at Universidad de Santiago de Chile. He was my assistant at theLinguistic course that I taught for both English-Spanish Translator degree and Spanish Literature degree. He was in charge of the assistantship of this course, setting him apart by his leadership and knowledge; he was able to answer to students several questions without my help and was capable of making his ownmaterial for their assistantship classes. His support was invaluable for the Institution and me, showing his real talent for being a teacher. Pedro always hadgood mood, never was late, and was very organized.
At that time, Pedro was in charge of a voluntary group dedicated to help secondary students to preparethe Language PSU test in Internado Nacional Barros Arana School. The main reason of his group was to help some students that were not able to study in a“preuniversitario”.
He always showed interest in teaching all-level students. I am quite sure that nowadays, his teaching skills have growth due to theexperience he had gained through the years. He always wanted to improve his knowledge in order to give the best quality classes. I sincerely recommend PedroSalas as an ideal teacher for your institution, because he has a lot of talent and, the fact that I consider the most important, he has the vocation ofteaching.
Sincerely,
Juan Pérez Soto,
Spanish Literature Teacher at Universidad de Santiago de Chile
