Carataco woke up at the sunrise. He was preparing for a hard day working in the field when a big racket was heard in the village. War, they were called to fight for the chief of hisvillage, Casiuvelano. A new enemy appeared at the sea, the enemy came from the Galia, although it was said that, in fact, the enemy came from far away. Carataco was a simple peasan, he fought time ago,when he was young, but there are things that are very difficult of (prep) forgot. He took his big sword and his big shield, he didn’t need anything more protection, and he painted his face with blue.The Britons fight like that. Finally the people of the village of Carataco joined the big army. Then the big coalition of Britons went to Dubris, because the scouts had seen the roman navy near ofthis place.
Not many time ago the enemy navy appeared at the skyline, they didn´t try to land at the beach, where they had to land but the Roman did not do on account of the Britons javelins beforethey stepped on the sand. Because of this, the navy had to withdraw slightly. Hours after, Carataco was thinking about what would happen. The roman navy began to move near the coast searching a betterplace to land.
Casiuvelano´s soldiers had to run parallel the biremes. An hour after, they landed in an open beach. The boats were very big to land exactly in the beach, because of this thelegionaries had to land in the depth water. The Britons chariots take position near the infantry shore. During some minutes no one moved. The Britons wait on the sand, and the scared romans, did not tryto step on the sand. Finally the aquiliferum, the braviest soldier in the legion said to his comrades:”Follow me, soldiers, unless you want to give the eagle of the legion to the enemy. For my par,t Iwill carry out my duty towards to my general, and toward to the res publica” And he leapt to the water, running to the enemy.
