For over 40 years, Overly has been an industry leader in the design, testing, and manufacturing of blast- and pressure-resistant door and windowsystems. All of Overly's blast- and pressure-resistant products have been tested to the latest ASTM standards or verified with structural analysis by our staff engineers. Many of our blast-resistant products have been tested as complete operable systems in a shock tube at Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants in San Antonio, Texas. Overly has also tested many of its blast products to the latest ULfire test standards, including UL 10B (neutral pressure) and UL10C/UBC 7-2 (positive pressure).

Description

OVERVIEW

VLRB and LRB are personnel-size 1-3/4” thick heavy-duty hollow metal doors. They are lightweight and have the appearance and user-friendly features of industrial-grade fire doors. However, Overly has “hardened” the doors by developing proprietary restraining hardware and thestrategic placement of reinforcing steel. These doors are for use where equivalent unseating static loads are in the 0.7 to 3 psi range. The MRB Models are personnel-size 2-3/4” thick heavy-duty hollow metal doors. These doors are equipped with Overly’s concealed single or multi-point latching pin design that is aesthetically pleasing, long lasting, and requires minimal maintenance. These doors arefor use where equivalent unseating static loads are in the 2 to 20 psi range. See Shock Tube test results for dynamic load capacities.

All models are available in single and double leaf swings. Horizontal sliding doors of similar construction and load ratings are also available.

Fire Rating – Positive Pressure
All models are listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) and are fire rated up to three hours in accordance with Standard UL10B, “Fire Tests of Door Assemblies,” UL10C, “Positive Pressure Fire Testsof Door Assemblies,” and UBC 7.2. Consult Overly with regard to how the size and hardware limitations of these procedures apply to these models.
