The days following his expulsion from Pencey Prep. He fights with his roommate .He leaves school two days early to explore New York before returning home, interacting with teachers, prostitutes, nuns, an old girlfriend, and his sister along the way. He is a teenager who just wants to explore the world and experience knew things, youcan say that because the book is like his feelings. In conclusion the novel's main conflict pits the innocence and authenticity of childhood. It is represented by his sister Phoebe, against the adult stenotype, as he sees it, of most adults, Mr. Antolini for example. Neither a child nor a grownup, He resists many of his impulses because he thinks some of them are degrading and not to be proud of.Conflict
The conflict is an internal conflict because he is straggling with himself because he is becoming an adult but at the same time he donot want to leave his childhood apart. The major conflict is that part of him wants to be an adult an interact with adults, more specifically to have a sexual experiences, but part of him wants to reject the adult stereotype, and to remember his memoriesof childhood. His desire of becoming an adult makes him do things that most of the people will consider morally wrong, like the expulsion of his school.

The Catcher in the Rye

In my opinion this book is an excellent book because it really tells what a teenager could think in a certain period of his life. In that moment of your life you are not a kid neither an adult so you are too old to do some things and too young to do some other. The catcher in the rye expresses the feeling of HoldenCaulfield in a way you think he is really talking to you. The mood of the story is told, makes you think you are there seeing all the things that happen and feeling all the emotions the characters feel. If you think for a moment what it’s happening to main Character you will have a moment of empathy when you think, what if I was he? Even thought the book was written many years ago it reallyexpresses, what in my opinion all the people experience or want to experience. Even though I think the book is kind of immoral because it states that people will do bad things when they just want to and explore the world. In conclusion the book is made for teenagers it is like a guide of things you want to do or you doing even though I think it is a little bit immoral at the end it really teaches you...
