Changing Minds

Introducing Jesus in my life is the best gift my mom could ever give me. Since I was little I have been a very catholic girl, going church every Sunday, and I still pray every night for my family, myfriends, loved ones and those who do not have what we have. Jesus is the best thing in my life besides my family, he is my support and the air I breath, I can imagine my life without god and myfaith, because faith is what moves mountains away from your way.
On the other hand I know a bunch of people that do not believe in god for many reasons, but the main reason is because they still thinkthat god is like a kind of wizard what can make everybody’s wishes come true, but unfortunately he is not a wizard, he does not have all the magic power in his finger, but what he can do is help us andlisten to us by praying. He sure can help us and give us a hand when we need it, but we need to help him too by believing in him. It is sad to hear people talking bad things about God just becausethey fail their exams or because they did not get what they wanted, but that is selfish because they are just material things, not things that we really need/want; I am pretty sure that God will neverlet me down in a really important or dangerous situation, a disease or a tragedy neither the ones who believe and love him, but if I fail an exam or I broke with my boyfriend it is up to me, my fault,not his.
In order to prove the existence of God I would challenge someone who does not believe in him to go to church, be in peace, pray and talk to him once in a while, because even though most ofthe people think it is stupid and useless, it is not. God can hear us and read our mind, he knows what we really want and need from the very bottom of our hearts, and he will find a way to make it workout.
We do not have to be afraid or embarrassed for loving Jesus with the ignorant people out there, remember what Jesus said: "If you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you in front...
