Sir Charles Spenser Chaplin was born in London in 1889. Was a comic actor,compocer,producer,film director and a writer. Best known for his popular performances during the silentfilms. He became the most famous film star in the world before the World Warm I and he was one of the founders of United Artists. Chaplin career spanded over seven decades and recived many academyadwards. He shoot about ninety films from 1910 to 1950.
Chaplin’s first performence was when his mother lost her voice while singing and he had to replaced her ,in that time hi was only five years.In1900 he was hired by Frohman’s company and made seven trips around England. By 1901 Chaplin was one of the members of the group of dancer Lancashireh. “the eight boys”. Two years later he portrayedBilly in the play Sherlock Holmes. At age 18 he joined the company of Fred Karno with which toured to Paris, New York, California and Canada. In 1913 he left this company and he started to write anddirect his earliest films.

Chaplin lived in the U.S.A. from 1912 to 1952 . During this piriod Charles wrote,directed and starred dozens of films. some of them are: The Tramp ,The Inmigrante, The Gold Rush ,City Lights , Modern Times and The Great Dictador . Betwen this years he had many romans. He merried fourt time and he had eleven children. Six of them with his last wife 36 yearsyonger than him. Sir Chaplin created his own film studio and he also had a very active social live in hollywood and was one of the most importan and influential people there.
Like others actors hewas involved in several scandals and many legal problems. Was accused of un american as a suspected communist and the FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover tried to end his united state residensy until hewas deported in 1952 while he was taking a trip to United Kindong leaving almost all his properties and fortune here.
