Charles Dodgson
Mathematician, classic children’s novelist and renowned amateur photographer Charles Lutwidge Dodgson was born in Daresbury, Cheshire in January 27, 1832(“Lewis Carroll”).The third child of Reverend Charles Dodgson and Frances Jane Lutwidge, they both came from well-known and prestigious families with “families trees going back for centuries”,Charles Dodgson was the surrounded by seven sisters and three brothers he a funny and remarkable childhood. Dodgson’s family is described as “educated conservative, generous and very Christian, were everymorning, noon and night the family prayed together” (Cohen).
His education was initially done at home with his parents as his teachers, in other words he was homeschooled. At the age of twelve hebegin his formal education and for two years he attended grammar school in Richmond, Surrey then at the age of fourteen he was sent to the public school Rugby in Warwickshire where he develop andincreased his Christian’s values and morality at (“Lewis Carroll”). Subsequently he begin his collegiate career and education at Christ Church College, Oxford where he distinguished himself in the field ofmathematics (“Lewis Carroll”).He gained a university post as a lecturer (this is a English version of a college professor) from 1855 to 1881(“Dodgson” 345). Dodgson spent his childhood in Yorkshire,where Dodgson’s father was the curator of a Yorkshire congregation, then after an arduous work, he became Archdeacon of Richmond and Conon of Ripon. His family, is, was well-known and prestigiousfamilies.

“Lewis Carroll”
The Reverend Dodgson invented “Lewis Carroll”( in 1856 Dodgson coined the name “Lewis Carroll” and used it for the first time when he published a poem in the magazine TheTrain.
“ In 1862 Dodgson presented Alice with a manuscript version of a story he had made up during a picnic entitled “Alice’s Adventures Under Ground”
