Chess



Actually no one knows exactly its origin, among some of the theories says that chess is a newer version of Chaturanga (ancient game of India) or Shatranj (ancient Persia game), what iscertain is the game simulates a battle between two armies and says was created to teach the art of warriors strategy.



Chess is not only considered one of the oldest games but one of the morein-depth, as well made some estimates we can say that there are twenty sextillion of situations.



A game with such depth is not a game that should be taken lightly, there is great scope forlearning as it promotes chess player in many intellectual abilities: memory, attention, observation, concentration, spatial reasoning, visualization , fatigue, perception, computation, problem solving andmental agility.



Chess is a board game for two players, in which each has 16 moving parts in a specific way along a board with 64 squares (8 x 8) with half-colored and half dark.



There aresix different types of pieces which have a specific value: King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, Knight and Pawn.



Although the aim of the game is to checkmate (which means leaving the King-sac, no matterwhat your opponent's next move will take their King) to the game because this is not always a player to see the game lost can surrender, or the game can end in a draw, which can be declared byrepeating the same position for 3 plays or run out enough pieces to checkmate the opponent.
