CHILDRENS ABUSE

Child abuse can be defined as any act or omission which fails in the upbringing of the children. There are many factors that contribute tochild abuse for example parents who abuse drugs or alcohol are more likely to maltreat their children.
Types of child abuse
Of child abuse there are five types:A. Emotional abuse:
Olso known as verbal, mental and psychological abuse they couse serious behavioral cognitive, emotional or mental disorders.

B.Physical abuse:
It is the result of over discipline or physical punishment that is inappropriate to the childs age
C. Sexual abuse:
It is the inappropriatesexual behavior with a child
D. Neglect:
It is the failure to provide for the childs basic needs, for example adequate food or clothing, appropriate medicalcare, supervision or education
E. Comercial or other exploitation of a child refers to child labour and child prostitution

Child abuse can have thefollowing consequences.
1. It will encourage the child to lie, fear and resent instead of loving, confidence and listening
2. It will separate your child fromyou and tre rest of your family
3. It will lower the childs self __ esteem and affect his psychological development
4. When the child grows up he couldprobably abuse his children
In conclusion I think that children abuse is a social problem, that is growing everyday which affects our country development
It isthe government and everybodys responsibility tolook for a solution to this problem because children are he future of our country and they need our protection
