CHINA’S GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT FOR 2011
The Gross Domestic Product in China is worth 9.48% of the world economy, according to the World Bank.Historically, from 1960 until 2010, China's average Gross Domestic Product was 839.37 billion dollars reaching an historical high of 5,878.63 billiondollars in December of 2010 and a record low of 46.46 billion dollars in December of 1962. During the past 30 years China's economy has changed from acentrally planned system that was largely closed to international trade to a more market-oriented that has a rapidly growing private sector. A majorcomponent supporting China's rapid economic growth has been exports growth.
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in China expanded 8.9 percent in thefourth quarter of 2011 over the same quarter, previous year. Unlike the commonly used quarterly GDP growth rate the annual GDP growth rate takes intoaccount a full year of economic activity, thus avoiding the need to make any type of seasonal adjustment, according to the National Bureau ofStatistics. Historically, from 1989 until 2011, China's average annual GDP Growth was 9.32 percent reaching an historical high of 14.20 percent in December of1992 and a record low of 3.80 percent in December of 1990.
Chinese economy is bound to keep its descendant trend, already provided by the localgovernment, after two years of stimulating policies to go against the world financial crisis, and having targeted an 8% rise to the end of 2011.
