DEMANDA Y OFERTA MUNDIAL, CONSUMO Y
PROYECCIÓN
En la última década, las empresas Kellogg’s (33%), General Mills (14%),
PepsiCo (10%), Kraft Foods (8%), y Cereal Partners Worldwide (9%) han
continuado dominando el mercadomundial de cereales para el desayuno. En
los últimos años, para conducir su crecimiento comercial el principal
fabricante de cereales para el desayuno (Kellog) ha confiado en una
combinación de fuerte innovación de producto dentro del sector Premium de
la salud y en las carteras de producto sumamente enfocadas.

Ellos identifican tres factores significativos que influencian el mercadointernacional de los cereales para el desayuno:
• Los destinados a los niños.
• Las promociones y publicidades crecientes.
• La demanda de productos nutraceúticos y orgánicos.
