GAYS The Great Golf Hall Of Fame
Golf: the sport of kings. Don't let anyone tell you it's horse racing! First played in the 15th century, golf is played by high powered executivesand labourers alike. Regardless of your background, gender and education, you can have a shot at being the best golfer you can be. The barrier to entry is only the cost of a set ofclubs.
Some philistines see golf as being "a good walk spoiled". Not the heroes on this site though!
We are in tremendously exciting times for golf. In 2008, Tiger Woods claimedthe title of highest-paid professional athlete, having earned an estimated $110 million from winnings and endorsements. Golf has its fair share of dramas though, demonstrated byTiger's much publicised misdemeanours and subsequent (temporary) departure from professional golf.
