Nature's water cycle
The water of the earth move continuously from rivers and streams to the lakes and oceans, to the air, to the land, and back to the oceans again.
The sun's heat evaporateswater from the oceans. The water rises as invisible vapor (evaporation). Some water within plants and trees also evaporates into the atmosphere (transpiration). The water vapor in the air turns intoliquid water forming clouds in the sky (condensation) and falls back to the earth as rain, hail, snow, or some other form of moisture (precipitation).
Most precipitation drops back directly into theoceans. The remainder falls on the rest of the earth. In time, this water also returns to the sea (run off), and the cycle starts again.
This unending circulation of the earth's waters is called thewater cycle or hydrologic cycle.
Because of nature's water cycle, there is as much water on earth today as there ever was- or ever will be.
Water changes only from one form to another, and moves fromone place to another. The water you bathed in last night might have flowed in Russia's Volga River last year. Or perhaps Alexander the Great drank it more than 2000 years ago!

El agua de la tierra se mueve continuamente de los ríos y arroyos de los lagos y océanos, al aire, a la tierra, y de vuelta a los océanos de nuevo.

El vapor de agua en el aire se convierteen líquido que forman nubes de agua en el cielo (condensación) y vuelve a la tierra en forma de lluvia, granizo, nieve, o algún otro tipo de humedad (precipitaciones).
La mayoría de la precipitacióncae de nuevo directamente en los océanos. El resto cae sobre el resto de la tierra. Con el tiempo, esta agua también devuelve al mar (corriendo), y el ciclo comienza de nuevo.
