En una caminata de aproximadamente dos horas al interior de la ciudad antigua, empezando en la plaza de la merced, recorreremos las calles mássignificativas de la Cartagena colonial que nos transportaran al pasado, pasaremos por la plaza de Santo Domingo, plaza de Bolívar, la catedral Santa Catalina de Alejandria, el palacio de la inquisición, la plaza de la proclamación, visitando el museo del oro, luego llegaremos a la plaza de San Pedro Claver y visitamos la iglesia de San Pedro Claver y terminaremos en el baluarte San Fracisco Javier, en cadauno de los sitios aquí mencionados tendremos paradas para las respectivas explicaciones lo que llevara a comprender la importancia de Cartagena para la corona española en la colonia.
