COSMOGONIC MYTHS:
It relates how the origin of the world. Egyptian myths about the creation from scratch. In most of these myths, the gods are all-powerful. The deity can remain in the foreground and become the center of religious life, as with the Jews, or maywithdraw and become distant or peripheral divinity.

CULTURAL MYTHS OF HEROES:
They describe the actions and character of the beings who are responsible for the discovery of a cultural artifact or technological process. These are the myths of the culture hero. In Egyptian mythology is responsible for non-violent atmospheric phenomena; personifies rays coming from Ra, the blazing heat of summer andthe midday sun and dry air. Also, as ba of Khnum, the cold north wind, and the vital principle of living things.
               
MYTHS OF BIRTH AND REBIRTH:

Usually related to initiation rites, myths of birth and rebirth tell how life can be renewed, time reversed and transform humans into new beings.

In ancient Egypt, the preservation of the body was a very important symbol. Destroyingit represented a very serious risk. The Egyptians believed in immortality. Death, in the Egyptians represented the separation between the support material and immaterial elements: Ba, corresponding to the soul, and Ka, which represents the vital energy. It was necessary therefore that BA and Ka, the awakening of a new life, could reintegrate the body, previously preserved.                                  
FOUNDING MYTHS:

Since the emergence of urban centers, and around the fourth century BC, some creation myths have narrated the foundation of cities. They evolved out of the ceremonial centers, which were considered extraordinary manifestations of sacred power. This event allowed the expression of power in a specific place, accentuating the value of human life sedentary.
Amon was the local god ofThebes tribes. When the Thebans won the throne of Egypt, Amon became a universal divinity and was considered the father of the gods. Then will be assimilated to the sun god Ra, essential to life, under the name of Amon-Ra.

Los mitos pueden clasificarse según el tema dominante que revelan

MITOS COSMOGÓNICOS:Se relaciona con cómo el origen del mundo. Mitos egipcios sobre la creación desde cero. En la mayoría de estos mitos, los dioses son todopoderosos. La divinidad puede permanecer en el primer plano y convertirse en el centro de la vida religiosa, al igual que con los Judios, o puede retirarse y convertirse en divinidad distante o periférica.

MITOS CULTURALES DE HEROES:
Ellos describen lasacciones y el carácter de los seres que son responsables por el descubrimiento de un artefacto cultural o proceso tecnológico. Estos son los mitos del héroe cultural. En la mitología egipcia es responsable de la no-violentos fenómenos atmosféricos; personifica los rayos que vienen de Ra, el calor abrasador del verano y el sol del mediodía y el aire seco. También, como ba de Jnum, el frío vientodel norte, y el principio vital de los seres vivos.
               
MITOS DE NACIMIENTO Y RENACIMIENTO:

Habitualmente relacionados con los ritos de iniciación, los mitos de nacimiento y renacimiento dirá cómo puede renovarse la vida, modificar el tiempo y transformar a los humanos en nuevos seres.
