Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was born in February 12, 1809. He died April 15 1865 at the age of 56. Hodgenville Kentucky U.S., were he wasburied. Peterson house Washington D.C. is where he was assassinated. He was the 16th president of the United States.
In 1860, Lincoln won theRepublican presidential nomination because of his reputation also because his rivals had too many political enemies. He was a citizen that is how hebecame a president. He took a stand by taking speeches. Millions of speeches he made throughout the U.S. One of the speeches was the Peoria speech.Abraham moved his family from Virginia to Jefferson country. Abraham had a grandfather named sake. He had four children. They were Robert, Edward,William, and Tad. He also had a wife named Mary. He was with his children including his father Thompson.
In one of his speeches he took a standfor slavery. He wanted to end slavery. He thought that things would go wrong in the country with slavery. Kentucky is where he was ambushed and killed.“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we flatter and lose our freedoms it will be because we destroyed ourselves” that is what once saidby Abraham Lincoln.
When Abraham had that right to end slavery a person named John Wikes killed him. He had landed on the ground and stayed therewhen his family saw him and cried there. He was shot in the back of the head. He was shot while he was sitting down. He was shot during a speech.
