American Revolution
The process that was leading up to the American Revolution was the colonists had organized to resist against British, the stamp act, by the British, and its protests. Inside allthis tension, people started forming congress or groups such as the “Son of Liberty”. Boycott and harassing people led to the British to repealed act because it affected the economy. The colonistshad justified American Revolution against Britain, because the British had no respect to colonist, they had no rights; they had no representation in the parliament. All this groups, boycotts and actwere the beginning of the American Revolution
The stamp act had increased tension because it is direct tax that messes with the colonies. This meant that the colonies had to buy one type of stamp fortheir legal documents, import, export and other objects. Most of the colonist who did help the boycotts and other form of take out the stamp act are merchant, shopkeeper and landownerswhich did like the way how the British treat them and the taxation affected the business. The colonies had to unite to defend themselves, some people united to form the Sons of Liberty.The people who formed the group were mainly colonists, which they made one of their own, Samuel Adams, their leader. They would go around harassing some of the British employed workers. The colonisthad to boycott the incoming of British things so they could make money. After boycott and harassing the parliament repealed the stamp act.
After the Stamp Act, the British decide to put an indirecttax which affected to the colonist things but this tax make an act which will allow martial law. The Townsend acts was an indirect act which affected to all object even tea so thecolonist stop buying anything and producing their own things.
