Colombia Is One Of The Most Dangerous Cities In Latin America

Bogotá is one of the most dangerous cities in Latin America.


Nowadays it’s very hard to find a safe city to live. There are a few people that think Bogotá is not a dangerous city, but I thinkthat it is because I know the situation here in Colombia, and also is on the list of the ten most dangerous cities in the whole world.


First of all, I am agree with this statement because as I’velived here, I can talk from my perspective, some people here in Bogotá are very bad, they kill people just for a cell phone, there are many thieves, basically, its not even safe to go out. Bogota’smain problem lies in the drug trade and extremist political groups rebelling against the Colombian government. Also here in Bogotá, we can see many different social classes, this affects a lot becausethe people that don’t have a lot of money, they need to survive, so they have to figure out any way to gain money, and this ways are not always the most honest and appropriate ways, this is why theybecome thieves also this people live in the southern part of the city , the north side of the city is absolutely more safe that the southern regions. Another thing that its hard I here, is finding ajob, people don’t trust, so they don’t help, even if there are really honest and good people, it’s hard to make the difference.


Second of all, I believe that as it’s a fact that Bogotá , is on thefifth place on the list of the ten most dangerous cities in the world, it is an unsafe city. So I would consider this after deciding to live in such a dangerous city, or definitely its advisable tolive in the northern part of the city, that it actually has many places to visit, but always with a lot of careful. In this list we can see another cities in Latin America that also suffer from beingan unsafe city like Rio de Janerio in Brazil, and Caracas in Venezuela, that their actual problems are also drug dealing and poorness. Bogotá is an unsafe city.
