WOMEN ROLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST SOCIETY

Women have taken many roles in the different cultures through the centuries; these roles have changed maybe since the XX century with the different historical events such as: the First world war, and specifically the second world war and after that with the feminist movements, the woman's role had a big change because the women can showed their capacitiesand their importance. The society has seen that women don’t serve only for the domestic jobs.
In spite of the fact that the women's role has changed in our society (western society), in other traditional cultures women have specific jobs and their lives are governed by a sexist culture where men are the main power, their opinions and decisions are the only ones that are worth it. For this reasonis necessary to establish the differences between the western culture and the eastern culture for this topic, but we know divide the cultures and customs in only two groups (west and east) these are very biased, nevertheless we want to explain some general ideas and conceptions about the women's role in the Middle East and specifically in the Islamism, because it is the main religion in thisregion; besides the Koran (Islam's holy book) offer us a view about the role of woman in this culture.
Islam has ideas about women similar to those of Catholicism, which regards the woman as one who incites to sin, according to the story of Adam and Eve says that she has the devil inside and that the only way free is subjugated to a man.
