Places of Attraction
CASTLE: Built in the governorship of Mr. and General Luis del Carmen Curiel,under the expertise and design of Mr. Augustin Pascal, between 1898-1902. Originally it served as headquarters for the water management and hydraulic works of Colomos. It now houses the Cultural CenterColomos House attached to the Directorate of Culture of the City of Guadalajara and offices of the Board's Forest Colomos.
PEPE GUIZAR SCULPTURE: Located at the back of the castle, with two boxeswhich have recorded the song popular phrases Guadalajara. Whose remains the author sings Jalisco, learned that his memory globally, were deposited on February 12, 1997.
EUCALYPTUS (AREA FIELD DAY)family recreation space immersed in the area of eucalyptus trees planted on a gentle slope of green area, where you can do different activities such as food, games and more. And it's the ONLY areawithin the forest where permitted heating or cooking food.
BIRD LAKE: Area located in the heart of the Forest. Where we see several species of birds such as ducks and geese and some other migratorybirds.
SIAPA PONDS: Place temporary storage of waters coming from different galleries and collectors for pumped for distribution.
THE PERGOLAS: Place located opposite the castle where there arecultural activities and family life.
JAPANESE GARDEN: solemn sanctuary donated by the city of Kyoto Japan. It retains the original design of the garden of the Temple in honor of the goddess DagoinSambion.
Space dedicated to stillness and reflection, admiring the majesty of the Japanese garden and waterfalls as well as its flora and fauna.
