Uses, Advantages and Disadvantages of Computers in Education.

The computer has enriched and improved the lives of people in many ways, but we have barely begun to see the pace of innovation andthis is accelerating in all technologies, from storage to processing, the bandwidth of networks, making it possible for computers to become better connected, easier and more intuitive to use, lessexpensive and capable of handling all types of information.
By giving students access to a new world of information, sparking creativity and facilitating rich communication and collaboration across vastdistances, computers have become a powerful tool for education. At the same time, the Internet provides an unprecedented level of great educational content to a wide audience, encouraging teachers toshare curriculum and resources worldwide. E-mail has facilitated better communication between teachers, students, parents and educational researchers, and emerging technologies of Web services willcreate greater opportunities for collaborative learning. Finding effective ways to use technology to enhance learning is a challenge to be addressed by educators, academics, policymakers and thetechnology industry as a whole.
But not everything is pink as you might think, we have first, that technology is a powerful tool that is still underutilized. When I speak of underutilized, I mean thecomparison between some schools where it is underutilized at other schools where there is no longer used in other schools where it is used in a powerful way. I think this is the reality of our country. Theprofound heterogeneity also marks a profound heterogeneity in the use of technologies and their use, there are situations where there is still no electricity, where conditions are still deficient,where schools have a computer but not connected to Internet . In other words, there is still very difficult issues. Everything has to do with the authorities and the interests that arise in this field...
