Kids are no longer the same as they were 20 years ago, commercialization has ended with the childhood of many of them at a very young age and hasmade kids to grow faster and unhealthier. This documentary passed through a lot of investigations and research by these recent years before they madeit. The people that have found all this are focused in different areas and they support each other to find answers.
This specialists have beengathering all the information through many experiments and studies they make on children, marketers and parents. As we can see on the documentary, theymake studies on kids like when they observe the blinking of kids while they are watching commercials and when doctors notice that this commercialsaffect their capacity of attention. They have also been studying the marketers, they see how and why they use certain strategies to get to childrenso easily and make them want to buy their product. They also analyze parents, they analyze why they permit it and how it affects them.
Marketershave also been researching as much as the people involved in the documentary, they have found the way to make children believe that “life is aboutbuying” to increase their production, fame and fortune. The bad thing of marketers is that they research only for their own good. They find out how tomake kids buy their food but not if their food is good for them. They have also found out the cheapest ways to produce and but winning more.
