RESUMEN
Antecedentes: En España en la última década, la presencia de alumnos inmigrantes en los centros educativos, se ha multiplicado por ocho en los diferentes niveles académicos. En varias comunidades autónomas, la proporción de inmigrantes ya ha superadoel 15% del número total de alumnos.
Objetivo: Comprobar si la presencia en las aulas de alumnos inmigrantes, afecta negativamente a los resultados académicos obtenidos por el grupo..
Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un trabajo de campo mediante el cual fueron recogidas una serie de calificaciones de alumnos, obtenidas en aulas de diversos centros educativos de la comunidad de Madrid y con distintosporcentajes de inmigración. Estos datos fueron estudiados y analizados estadísticamente para la obtención de unos resultados que nos ayudasen a aceptar o rechazar la hipótesis formulada.
Resultados: Con el análisis estadístico de los datos de estos seis grupos de alumnos, se puede observar una relación inversamente proporcional entre el porcentaje de inmigración en el aula y las notas obtenidas porlos alumnos. Esta relación, al comparar grupos que poseen menos del 10% de inmigración con grupos que poseen más del 10 %, muestra diferencias significativas en la asignatura de Biología pero no lo hace en Lengua y Matemáticas.

Conclusiones: La presencia en las aulas de alumnos inmigrantes, influye de una forma inversamente proporcional en la consecución de resultados académicos positivos porel grupo. La aparición de datos contradictorios entre las diferentes asignaturas, nos hace pensar que existen otros factores que también influyen en estos resultados, como pueden ser: el contexto socio-cultural donde se encuentre el centro y, por tanto, la mayoría de alumnos que acuden a él, el nivel de interés que puede despertar una u otra asignatura, la relación alumno-docente, lasinfraestructuras y recursos que posee el centro, el profesorado existente…

ABSTRACT
Background: Spain during the last decade has experienced an increase in the number of foreign students in schools. This number has gone up eight times thought out different academic levels. In some provinces this proportion of foreign people has gone over 15% of the total.
Objective: Find out if the presence of foreignstudents in our schools, has a negative impact on the academic results of the group as a whole
Methods: Field work was carried out in different schools where first hand (marks) data was obtained. This data was statistically analyzed and studied with the aim of getting data in order to accept or refuse the hypothesis launched.


Results: After analyzing the data of six different groups, it can beobserved an inverse proportional relationship between the percentage of immigration and the marks obtained by the students. We compared groups with more that 10% of immigration against groups with less than the percentage given (10%) in different subjects: Biology, Maths and language. Results show differences in Biology while there isn’t any differences for Maths and Language.
Conclusions: Thepresence of foreign students in our schools has an inverse proportional influence in achieving positive results for the group as a whole. The evidence of contradictory results for different subjects, lead us to think that there are other factors that have an influence on the results, these could be: social and cultural context where schools are located, and therefore, the majority of the students...
