I remember like it was yesterday when my life change, that stupid single joke that I doto him… that it almost kill him… That simple joke that tie us for the rest of our lifes, that joke that make a fool my best friend. Someone who would be thereto me no matter what, someone that his innocence was so big that he trusts everybody without even judge them.
Someone calls him a fool, a retard and a stupidperson, even me call him that way sometimes, but I will tell you something… Lennie wasn’t a fool, he was just a kid living his life like it would never ends, like nobody was watching him, he just do what he love to do.
Someday we’re going to have a house, in a big farm, were we are going to live together, grown ourown crops and have our own rules with many rabbits… These was something that I always said to Lennie, this was our dream… I remembered the excitement of Lennieevery time I tell him the story, I saw the light in his eyes and the smile of his mouth. I only hope that wherever you are right now, you are in our farm takingcare of your damn pressures rabbits.
Lennie didn´t deserve to die, Lennie deserve to live and show to the world the innocence and kind that he gave every day ofhis life.
I would never forget your strength, your kindness, your stupidness, and for all of it, I would never forget you, my dear friend, my dear brother.
