El Paso & Ciudad Juárez
Two cities that have many things in common but at the same time have many more differences. These two borders are of greatimportance for their countries. While Ciudad Juarez is known as the most violent city in the world, El Paso is one of the safest cities.
The mainfeature of these cities and at the same time the biggest difference is the language of each city. While in Ciudad Juarez most people speak Spanish, in thecity of El Paso people speak the English language. That each city has its own language is a serious problem in the communication of both placesbecause Mexicans and Americans do not understand the dialects of each city.
Another major difference is that each city has its own lifestyle. In Juarezpeople are more fun, have fun in many ways and are always in different places, dancing, singing and doing more activities, while in El Paso people aremore boring and prefers to be at home all day.
But there are not only differences between these two cities also have things in common, both areborders and both are very important gateway for international trade of the two countries at the same time it generates huge employment opportunities for allpeople living in Ciudad Juarez and El Paso.
Their traditions are another thing that these two cities have in common. Celebrations such as Christmasand Halloween are examples. However although these cities have more differences than equal things are essential parts of Mexico and the United States.
