Compare and Constrast Eassey
The history is about Melinda Sordino, a high school freshman who losted basically all of her friends after she called the cops in a summerparty because she was raped. This caused conflict with friends, personality and self-esteem.
DIFFERENCES
In the book Melinda sits in the front of the bus the firs day of school. In the movie, shesits in the back.
In the book, Merryweather High School's colors are gray and purple. In the film,
they are blue and red. 
In the movie, Melinda meets Heather on the bus to school, whereas in thebook she meets her in the auditórium
In the book, AE tries to rape Melinda a second time, and in the movie they have an agressive fight.
At the end of the book, Melinda speaks to Mr. Freeman abouther being raped, but in the movie, she tells her mom.
In the movie, Melinda meets Heather on the bus. In the book, she meets her in the autitorium.
In the book, Melinda is raped behind a tree, inthe movie he rapes her in his car.
In the book Racher and Andy break up at the prom, in the novel they do it in his car.
In the movie Mr. Neck gives an extra credit to Melinda because of her lowgrades, in the book, he gives it as an option for the hole group.
Inthe book you can hear more the thoughts about Melinda, but in the movie you see more actions.
In the book you see much distance inMelinda’s relationship with her family, but in the movie, does not seem to be so far apart at least not with her father.
Maybe the differences are necessary, because the movie is not as easily unfoldin the movie than in the book and would make the film longer and this will cause people to bore.

SIMILARITIES
The film is base in on the book, so is the same theme and subject.
Melinda is avery shy person after the night of the party, it affected her somehow and she doesn’t like to talk about it.
