INFORMAL LETTER



Dear Jan,

First of all sorry for not writing to you earlier but I've been incredibly busy lately. Anyway, I'm so pleased to hear from you!

In regard to the job I had lastsummer the true is I really had a good time there. To be honest, at the beginning, things weren't as well as I would have liked because the first days there weren't far too much work to do andsometimes I became bored, but things were improving more every day. I think the essential part of this work is being a very sociable person, having a good level of English and the most important thing:enjoy the music to the fullest! For all this, I do think you would love this job. However, it is not gold all that glitters and there were also difficult moments. For instance, one morning my boss told meoff in front of everyone just because I missed the bus and I came in to work late. Although I must admit it was my fault!

As to the money, the salary is not very high, about 650€-700€ per month,but it's enough if you manage the money in a good way. On the other hand, one important part of my work was dealing with English visitors and doing some translation, so, having a good level of Englishis quite important. If I'm not wrong, your level of English is similar than mine, isn't it? So I do think this point is not a problem at all.

In my view, if you are looking for a very well-paid jobit's better to apply for another one, but if otherwise you want to enjoy the experience and improve your English all you can this is the perfect job!

But, without any doubt, having the chance ofvisiting most of the music festivals that the company organizes is the best part of this job; the only thing you have to do is to make sure everything is going all right around there and giving ahelping hand if someone needs you.
