It is the seventh country in the European Union by population and ninth on the surface. Borders with Ukraine and Moldova to the northeast, Hungary and Serbia to the west and Bulgaria to thesouth. Romania also has a small strip of coastline on the Black Sea.
This country is very important for the world economy, since exports the largest amount of industrial and agricultural products to othercountries such as France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Turkey and United Kingdom.
